Our products come in a wide range of coverings, finishes and claddings. For example our cycle shelters can be built with a galvanised finish or a powder coated colour finish. Galvanised finishes on cycle shelters are very durable and will last for around 50 years before showing signs of corrosion. However if you wanted your bike shelter to last even longer then a combination of galvanised mild steel shelter and a powder coated finish will provide the most durable protection. When constructing secure bike sheds, for example, the more finishes applied to the cycle shelter, the higher the cost so talk with one of our advisers about which finish will suit your cycle shelter. It may be that you don't necessarily need both finishes and in most cases the powder coated finish will be adequate. Dual protection is generally only needed in areas with a high risk of damage from busy flows of people such as in busy covered walkways, school canopies or in an area with a high rate of pollution such as an industrial area or a sea side resort where the salt content of the air is high.
