Cycle Shelters

Cycle Shelters are a convenient and safe way to create safe bike storage for schools or any public area such as parks or town centres. The cycle shelters are all covered to protect the bikes from the weather which encourages usage of bikes rather than cars to get around. Any environmentally minded schools and councils would be helping the local environment by encouraging the use of bicycles to get to and from work or school. The cycle shelters can also be made lockable, creating a secure bike storage shelter. This is the ultimate protection for the cyclist who may otherwise be fearful of taking an expensive bike to school or college. The secure cycle storage shelters can be fitted with any sized padlock which can be replaced inexpensively if the padlock becomes corroded or an attempt has been made to break the lock. Traditional bike sheds suffer from damage when used excessively on the playground. Our cycle shelters are made from highly durable materials and high grade steel and covered in a high quality finish. This means that the cycle shelters will last longer and can be used in an area where there is a risk of damage from people hanging around the cycle shelters.

Fitting the cycle shelters

If you are worried about the base of the cycle shelter then don’t. We offer a full in house service to meet the needs of the clients fully. We can excavate the ground and create a permanent concrete base that will last as long as the cycle shelters. These bases are made from concrete, not concrete slabs and will not loosen or tilt, or be subject to people steeling the concrete slabs from the base of the cycle shelters, which has reported to be a problem with cheaper cycle shelters. If there are any problems with your bicycle shelters then we will fix the problem for you subject to the terms of the contract.
